TLDR: Do NOT go here for any serious condition. Go here, if you have unlimited money & time, and if your pet has a very minor condition. My two cats have been registered to this practice since 2015. Picked this place because it was close to home and only had 5 star reviews. I wasn't going to write this review, but then I realized this is why they have this rating. And this is why they have such few reviews compared to other practices in the area. Because when they do mess up, you just want to go to an actual veterinary center and forget about your experience. One of my cats died within 3 days of a dental surgery performed here. I know that this can happen and this is not the reason for this rating. I brought my other cat in on a Saturday morning because she had difficulty breathing. They told me a blood test was needed and we would get the results latest by Tuesday. I called every day until Friday to get an update only to end up being yelled at by their receptionist: "Do not be rude to the reception staff". It was literally 5 minutes of this lady not letting me speak and answering her own questions and then playing the victim. All I did was ask questions calmly with as many "please" and "thank you"s as humanly possible. Imagine being worried for the life of your pet, and being yelled at by the people who are supposed to help you. They are understaffed, disorganized, confused and have zero crysis management skills. Positives: +Simon is a great veterinarian and a very decent human being. Negatives: -You almost never get to see Simon, so him being a good person and a good vet means very little. -They very rarely have an assistant present. This leaves you to be the assistant (which works if your pet loves their blood being taken) -They don't have their own lab, so any test needs to be sent out elsewhere. -They have absolutely zero sense of urgency or follow up. -Their receptionist yells at you when you simply ask for an update because you're worried about the life of your pet.

We are very grateful to Simon and the nursing staff for the care given to our beloved cat Cuchito. Simon helped us find ways to manage her progressing kidney disease and cared for her until the last moment. The vets and reception staff at this practice are caring, knowledgeable and empathic. I strongly recommend Weybridge Veterinary Centre.

Outstanding practice. My dog loves going to the vet which is an unexpected, and very welcome, twist for a sometimes bashful Labradoodle. It has happened that a walk could only progress if we went in to say hello to the reception team. For an interactive little fella like him, that there is usually a dog quietly "supervising" the receptionist they belong to is a nice distraction. It makes for a calming waiting room and no matter what goes on after, he remembers above all how kind everyone is to him when we visit.
